Local Boy Bakery Review & Giveaway

I love to try new things and I always look for healthier alternatives when it comes to snacks for me and my family. I have tried many different mixes that were gluten free and other mixes that are made with more wholesome ingredients. But most of the time they taste like the cardboard boxes they come it. Plus, I prefer to buy fresh baked because it always tastes better than what you get out of a box. On Etsy, I found a great little company called Local Boy Bakery. They make unique cookies, brownies and other great tasting treats using ingredients like unbleached flour, real butter, and free range chicken eggs.

For our review, got to try their whole wheat chocolate chip and toffee cookies. These are two of my favorite classics, but I'll admit, I didn't think they would be nearly as good if they were made with whole wheat. Boy was I wrong! These cookies are awesome! They are nice and big, soft, chewy, and baked fresh.  I wouldn't have even guessed by the taste that they were made with whole wheat.  They just taste like any other delicious gourmet cookies.



We also got to try out the fudge brownies which are made with Belgium chocolate. They use no additives or preservatives. These were even better than the cookies. For anyone who is a chocolate junkie, they are sure to satisfy your cravings. Like all their items, they are baked fresh when you order and sealed in plastic to preserve that freshness. In addition to the items I received, they also have whole wheat snicker doodles, orange lavender cookies, breakfast bars, and more. Check back soon because they will be adding gluten free pizza dough to their inventory.
