Dot Girl First Period Kit Review & Giveaway

I hate to admit it, but my first born is growing up. She is officially a tween now, and womanhood is on the horizon. She is already wearing a training bra and I know that her monthly friend will be stopping by any time now. I have sat down to talk to her about it, and she even carries a pad with her in her handbag just in case. But there are some things about it that are hard to explain and there is no shame in needing a little help, especially with your first child. Dot Girl understands how difficult  this transitional period can be and they have developed the perfect kit that tells your child all they need to know about their period.

There are lots of goodies in the First Period Kit, like sanitary napkins, fancy disposal bags, antibacterial wipes, a heating pad for cramps and more. But the most important item is the easy to read Period Answer Book.  It explains what a period is, what it will feel like and what girls can expect in terms that young girls can understand. My daughter read through the whole book and I feel she has a much better understanding about the changes which are going to start happening to her body. Thanks to the First Period Kit, we are both more comfortable and prepared for when the big day finally arrives.

In addition to their First Period Kids, Dot girl also offer books, underwear, sensibles disposable bags, skincare and more. They offer a fountain of knowledge for both parents and young girls who are beginning the journey to womanhood. If you have a daughter, this is a website you need to keep bookmarked.

One lucky winner is going to receive the First Period Kit for their own daughter.  To enter, please visit Dot Girl and tell me something you learned.
