Lazy Lizards Yoga Review & Giveaway

I love yoga. And my kids, especially my oldest daughter, loves to do whatever I am doing. She has been trying to do yoga with me at night. And while her youth makes her a lot more flexible than I am, not all the instructional DVDs are easy enough for her to follow along with.  Lazy Lizards Yoga understands that sometimes children need simpler instruction for their yoga routine and they created a DVD and yoga mat made just for kids.

Lazy Lizards Yoga takes all the basics of yoga and puts them in terms that children can understand.  Their DVD takes kids step by step through different poses, using animals as their guide. Pretending to be animals is a great way to encourage your kids to do this healthy exercise. It feels much more like a game instead of work when they watch the fun DVD and see other kids practicing along with them.

Yoga is a wonderful way to encourage healthy exercise. Its great for their bodies as well as their minds. It will build their self esteem while teaching them about patience and helping them calm their minds.  Both my son and daughter loved the instructional DVD from Lazy Lizards Yoga. The thirty minute routine was just long enough to hold their interest without tiring them out too much. They really felt like they had accomplished something when they finished it up.  I would recommend this DVD as well as the fun mat to anyone with kids who want to do yoga on their own or with mom.
