The Joy of Soap Review & Giveaway

One of my favorite indulgences is handmade soap. There's something special about a fresh cut piece of handmade soap. They smell no nice, and leave your skin feeling so much cleaner than store bought soaps. There's a new company I discovered recently that sells handmade soaps in scents I love at a very reasonable price. That company is The Joy of Soap.

I received three different bars to sample for this review.  The first was their Two in The Shower Tea Tree.  Tea Tree is one of my favorite essential oils. It has amazing healing qualities, is very safe and gentle for the skin, and the fresh, clean scent really lifts your spirits. The Peppermint Passion soap I also received is a real eye opener in the morning. The Feeling Frisky made with tangerine, grapefruit and lime with calendula flower leaves you feeling like you just left the spa.  All of them come in generous portions that will last for at least a few weeks each. And all of them leave your skin feeling soft and deep down clean.

These are only a few of the great soaps available at The Joy of Soap. Check out all their scents here. And coming in the spring of 2010 they will be extending their line to include scrubs, cleansers and creams. I can't wait to give them a try. But the best thing of all about this company, is that they strive to be green. They recycle all the paper they use, they package their soaps in natural muslim bags, and they use only recycled and recyclable materials for packaging.
