I live at the Jersey Shore and in the summer I spend a lot of time at the beach and on our local boardwalk with my children. Since we spend so much time out in the hot sun, UV rays have always been a concern for me, especially since both my mother and grandfather had skin cancer that was a direct result of not covering up when they were young.  I lather my kids up in 50 proof sunblock but I'm always looking for other ways to keep them safe from the sun's harmful rays.
