Our Review
My hubby has had back issues for a long time and they've recently gotten worse. We've seen many chiropractors but it wasn't until recently that one of them suggested getting a TENS unit for him to help relax his muscles. See, the hubby works a desk job and is constantly sitting at a computer and is stressing out the muscles of his neck and upper back. This happens when you sit at a desk and at a computer for as many hours as he does. The chiropractor he is seeing told him that using a TENS unit might help at least keep his muscles from spasming as much as they were so when I was able to review this unit, I jumped at the chance.
We started out slowly with the TENS unit the first time but by the end of the ten minutes, hubby could definitely tell that it was helping! Over the next couple weeks we slowly increased his time with the unit until we were up to the length of time the chiropractor had suggested. The whole time he's been pleasantly surprised at the relief he has been feeling. His back and neck no longer hurt as bad or as much as they used to and he feels that his muscles are more relaxed too!
With this unit having different massage programs and settings, even I can use it for those times that I just need a little help relaxing my muscles.
The TENS unit is light weight so you're able to wear it and port it around easily while you're walking through the house (or hubby even wore it when he ran to the store once!). It's easily charged using a USB cable and charging brick so you're not constantly changing out batteries and not having to invest a small fortune. It also comes with two sets of electrodes which comes in handy if there are two of you using the machine but it's also nice to have a set of back up electrodes. But my favorite thing about this unit other than how well it works is that it comes with a carrying case! Having the case means that I'm able to put the TENS unit away and keep it safe and together in the nightstand so little fingers don't try to drag it all over!
