My Thoughts

Jericho of Scotland Yard is an fascinating detective series set in London right after World War II. Chief Inspector Jericho works to solve murders among the elite along with his partners Harvey and Caldicott.  This series features four different episodes:

A Pair of Ragged Claws- Sir Wellesley is kidnapped and a black singer is killed. Memories of his father's death still haunt Jericho.

The Killing of Johnny Swan - A champion runner and his new bride are found murdered. Rumors of aliens, mobsters and spies make this an interesting case.

To Murder and Create- A scientist and a mailman are both strangled. Can it be related? Jericho is also involved with a lady of ill repute which could get him into trouble.

The Hollow Men - A serial killer attacks of smoggy night with killings could date back to the 20s.

This was such a great series. I enjoy seeing mysteries solved before their was a lot of technology. I also love how true to life the scenery and costumes are. Jericho looks a lot like my grandfather did during this time period. Really hoping the series continues though I hear it has ended. If you'd like to grab a copy of this exciting series, you can find it on Amazon or Acorn Media.
