My Thoughts

This series centers around Janet King. She is a senior crown prosecutor in Australia who is selected to head a commission to prevent illegal firearms from being distributed. We follow her through a variety of high profile cases. Though she is often threatened both privately and professional, she always holds her ground. The series includes eight fantastic episodes.

The Invisible Wound- Janet heads up  a gun crime commission after shootings threaten her town, and a vet commits suicide.

Here and Now-  A drive-by shooting leads to some clues for the commission, and Janet worries that Ash may be involved.

In Plain Sight - The commission goes undercover after another death, hoping to uncover evidence and maybe unearth a mole.

The Smoking Gun - Members are the military are questioned when it appears two deaths are linked.

Apprehended Violence - The media is on the commission's case, and a gun shipment has gone unclaimed.

The Thaw - The undercover operation is blown out of the water, and some members of the Commission are under fire.

The Heart of It - The commission discovers a connection, but it may be too late to do any good.

The Long Goodbye - The commission gets what they were looking for, but not without a few surprises.
I really loved this series. It centers around a strong female character and is packed with action and intrigue. I can't wait to see what Janet gets involved with next season . If you'd like to grab a copy of this awesome DVD for yourself, you can find it online at Acorn Media or on Amazon.
