Family movie night is an important part of our weekly routine. Every Friday, I set aside a few hours to spend with my children. We all snuggle together on the sofa--even the teenagers. The Family Movie Club is a great way to enhance this experience. Each month, they send you a fun movie-themed package that includes one fantastic movie and some fun themed swag to go along with it.
This month's movie was The Goonies. This film was one of my favorites when I was a kid, so I was excited to share the experience with my own children. The main item in the box is the DVD, but there are a variety of fun toys and treats to go along with it that all fit the Goonies theme. This month's package included:

This box is a really fun idea. My kids loved all these goodies, and are still playing with the map and bag of treasure. The movies they include are always family favorites from the eighties and nineties, and many in the line up have been classics like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Home Alone, Free Willy & more. Not only is it a fun treat for my kids, it's also a walk down memory lane for me. It's a nice experience and costs a fraction of what I would pay to take my whole family out to the movie theater.
