Celebrate National Oatmeal Day with Nature's Choice - #Giveaway

Whether you like to eat it steaming hot or chilled overnight, piled with toppings or plain, for your health or for the taste, oatmeal is having its day…October 29th to be exact, National Oatmeal Day.

This year, why not celebrate this tasty holiday by thinking outside the bowl?  Here are some delicious ways to eat oatmeal, without lifting a spoon from Nature’s Path:

·         Oat and Yogurt Breakfast Bars - Chock full of health-promoting goji berries plus sunflower and pumpkin seeds, these whole grain breakfast bars make an ideal snack or breakfast on-the-run. The acid in the yogurt reacts with the baking soda to give them a light texture and pleasing crumb.

·         Hot Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars - Nature’s Path Hot Oatmeal provides a great ready-made, flax-enriched base for your next batch of oatmeal bar cookies. For a special indulgence, add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts in addition to the chocolate chips. For variety, use raisins instead of the chips.

·         Fruit and Oatmeal Museli  - Ok, so this does require a spoon, but it’s not your average bowl of oatmeal. Traditional muesli is made with rolled oats and dried fruit and soaked overnight. By using instant oats and fresh fruit, your muesli ready to eat in just minutes.

My Thoughts

My grandfather swore by oatmeal, but I always found it a little bland.  The instant oatmeal tastes better, but they are usually so packed with sugar, I wonder if they're still good for you. Luckily, I discovered Nature's Choice Oatmeal, and they offer the best of both worlds. Nature's Choice offers delicious blends of organic oatmeal that are a delight to your taste buds. I got to try three  different types and they were all awesome.

Qia Superseeds and Grains - This blend is packed with superfoods liek chai, hemp, quinoa, and buckwheat. One packet gives you a real energy boost in the morning. I love the texture and the taste.

Hot Oatmeal with Flaxseed - This a great choice for those who prefer their oatmeal plain. It's a great source of Omega-3.  Just add a little fresh fruit if you want some extra flavor.

Optimum Power Blueberry Cinnamon Flax- This was my favorite and it's spectacular. I never  imagined blueberry and cinnamon would be such an amazing combination, but this oatmeal tastes so amazing, it's easy to forget it's good for you.  Even my kids love it.

If you'd like to learn more about Nature's Choice and all they have to be sure to check out their website or look for their products in a store near you.
