Review: Helen Ficalora Sterling Silver Small Scallop Shell Charm - #Giveaway

I’m not a huge jewelry person most of the time. My jewelry box filled with tons of rings and other stuff I never wear is a testament to that. However, I do like necklaces and was happy to get a complimentary Helen Ficalora Sterling Silver Small Scallop Shell Charm with a Sterling Silver chain in exchange for an honest review. The thoughts to follow are my own honest impressions of the product.

The first thing that struck me about the product was the packaging it came in. It was elegant-looking and seemed perfect for gift-giving.

Is this the cutest or what?

As cute as the box was, I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I opened it. Sometimes, you look at a picture of a product online and it’s just not what you thought it was at all. This necklace didn’t disappoint me. I was happy to see it appeared just a little smaller than I thought it might. I prefer small, simple jewelry to big, flashy pieces. I think they are not only more comfortable, but look nicer.

To put this through its paces, I decided to wear the piece full time for several days (Expect in the shower. I generally dislike wearing jewelry in the shower). This included sleeping with it on, wearing it through working out, and all my other daily activities. I was happy to see the piece was not only cute and comfortable to wear, but durable as well.

Another great thing about the piece is the chain is the perfect length to show the shell charm off properly, while also being easy to fasten the chain. Sometimes, shorter chains are a pain to deal with and I end up just putting the necklace aside in frustration.

If you’re looking for a cute gift for an upcoming graduation or other special event, this piece is a great choice. It’s also great for a season where many people are getting ready to spend a lot of time on the beach. Check out some of the other awesome stuff they have featured on their website....
