Holiday Gift Guide - Stocking Stuffres from CVS - #Giveaway

Looking for some fun and affordable socking stuffers that will leave you smelling sweet and looking beautiful long after the season has ended. Here are some of my top picks from CVS.

Switch up your fragrance and body lotion to complement the autumnal air with Essence of Beauty Fine Fragrance Body Mist and Body & Hand Cream in Forbidden Orchard and Vanilla Whisper ($6.99 each). Crisp red apple, sweet nectarine and black currant combine with the notes of dewy fig and delicate orchid to create the enchanting Forbidden Orchard scent. Delicate Tahitian vanilla and exotic tiare flower blend with fruity white peach for a soft, sophisticated fragrance of Vanilla Whisper.

My Thoughts

I've always been very particular when it comes to perfumes. I can't take anything with a heavy scent and I don't want to smell like a grandma. Essence of Beauty is perfect for me. They are more like a body spritz than perfume because they are so light and airy.  Spritzing them onto your skin is a refreshing treat. They spray on evenly, dry quickly, and never stain your clothes. The lotion rubs in evenly and leaves your skin extra soft. I was able to try out the two new scents--Vanilla Whisper and Forbidden Orchard. I enjoyed them both so much, it's impossible to pick a favorite. They are all  unique with fresh scents that make you think of fall walks each time you use them. They also bridge the generation gap because my teenage daughter loves them just as much as I do.

Essence of Beauty offers several advantages over other beauty products, at least for me. In my little town, there are no department stores where I can purchase fancy fragrances. I would have to drive an hour away. With Essence of Beauty, I can pick up a bottle at my local CVS, which is literally two blocks from my house.  Even more impressive is the price! $6.99 a bottle? That is almost insane for the amount of product you're getting. One bottle should last for months, even if you reapply several times a day. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the quality and huge fragrance selections available from Essence of Beauty. There are so many difference choices, each person is sure to find the scent that's perfect for them. Be sure to check them out the next time you're in CVS or head over to their website to view the full line and be sure to check out a few more of my favorite products.

Transition your lip color for the season with darker shades like Makeup Academy Color Intense Lipstick in Brick ($10), Lip Color Crayon in Rose ($8) or High Shine Lipstick in Berry ($9). Choose from these bold, rich colors for the perfect fall look.
Keep your hair smooth and frizz-free this autumn, with NUANCE SALMA HAYEK Bamboo Extract Straightening Balm ($9.99). This lightweight formula straightens hair and controls frizz for a smooth, lasting and polished style. The Bamboo Extract coats each strand to strengthen and condition damaged hair, improving its overall appearance while reducing blow-dry and styling time.

Whether it be fall wedding weekend or holiday trip home, pack this petite pop-arazzi 5-Piece Brush Set ($5.99) in your carry-on for effortless beauty on the road. This multi-purpose kit includes powder, eyeliner, eye shadow, eye smudge and brow/lash brushes, conveniently packaged in a cute polka dot cosmetics case.
