Andrea Schroder Candle of the Month Club - Review & #Giveaway

This year, I learned an important lesson about candles. Cheaper is not always better. Being a stay-at-home mom, I was burning candles more often, and the ones I picked up at the grocery store did more harm than good. One day, I looked up at my cathedral ceilings and noticed lines of soot everywhere. It took me weeks to clean them and I almost fell off the ladder at least fifteen times. Now, I know better and I only burn quality  candles, like the beautiful coconut oil candles you'll find at Andrea Schroder.

Andrea Schroder Candles are made using only essential oils and a cotton wick. This means I'll never have to worry about messy soot on my ceilings. But that's not the only thing that's special about these succulent scented candles. I received the October package, which included a fill size Tabac Noir Candle. I just loved this candle. First off, it has an amazing burn time. If used in  2-3 hour increments, it should last for up to 75 hours. That's some serious burn time.  But of course the scent was the most impressive part.  This variety will get you in the mood for Christmas because it has a nice pine scent that reminds me of a Christmas tree. It burns evenly, without creating any smoke or soot when it's extinguished, and fills the whole house with a pleasant aroma. Each one also has a beautiful inspirational quote printed on the front. Mine said,

"Give me a loving spirit
To enrich the life I live.
Give me a friendly heart
To share my joys and to forgive."
