Green Toys Train - Review & #Giveaway

My Thoughts

I am always looking for safe toys for my children.  Its important to know exactly what your toys are made us, and that there is no lead paint or other things that can cause brain damage or make children sick. At Green Toys, I found...well, I found Green Toys that are cute, fun and safe for kids of all ages. Plus they are environmentally friendly because they are made from recycled plastics. Even the package they come in made from recycled paper and soy based ink.

My son almost lost his mind when he saw the Green Toys Train. His whole world revolves around his train collection. We have tons of toys trains, but the Green Toys Train is special for a variety of reasons. Of course, I love that is a green product, made from recycled material, but that's only one perk. The train is very well made. It's larger than most toy trains, sturdy, and the cars are easy for kids to attach and detach. It includes a steam engine and two cars as well as two adorable little bear action figures. There is a lot of room in the cars for additional passengers and cargo. There are no tiny pieces that break off, and it can be used both indoors and out. The large wheels roll evenly along smooth and rough terrain, including rugs and sand. When kids are finished, the train is easy to clean. You can wipe it down with water or even toss it in the dishwasher. I also love that there are no small pieces that can get lost. And it's completely kid powered, so no batteries are required. This train is a new take on a classic and a perfect toy for preschoolers.
