Day Trip

My hubby and I are high end users of our iPhones and iPads. There is rarely a day that goes by that one or both of us don't end up plugging the devices in to try to squeeze just a little more use out of them. The Duracell Portable Charger Set is just what we need though.

The 'Day Trip' is small and is great for charging up my iPhone while I'm at home and moving around doing chores. It's small enough that I can fit it in my hoodie pocket or even in the back pocket of my jeans if I really try. There is honestly something to be said about a small charger that doesn't take forever to get your phone up and going. The main thing that I noticed, other than the speed that it charges my phone, is this device does not get warm while it's charging my phone. Every other device I've tried as a portable charger had ended up getting warm. I do have to mention this has an iPhone and a micro-USB cords attached.

Long Haul

The 'Long Haul' is another amazing device from Duracell. It has duel ports for USB cords. This makes it very easy to charge your iPad and iPhone. While testing the 'Long Haul' charger, I was able to charge my iPad and iPhone from a completely dead battery on it before the charger itself died. This is something that my hubby loves to keep in his backpack with his computer so when he needs his iPad charged on the go, he doesn't take the battery from his computer.

Both the 'Day Trip' and 'Long Haul' can be recharged using the USB input cable that comes with the chargers or with any Duracell Power Mat. They also have LED lights on the front ('Day Trip') and the top ('Long Haul') to let you know when they need to be charged. My kids actually enjoy watching the lights blink as it's charging!

These are two devices that I will not leave home without when we are on the go to the lake and on vacations this summer. I know that they will make our lives easier, especially with the kids since they like to watch a movie before bed on their iPad.
