Summer Birthday Bash! Learning Resources Pretend & Play Ice Cream Shop Review & Giveaway

Both of my girls love to play with pretend food. I think all little girls do. We have a little kitchen set, pots, pans, and dishes. But one thing we didn't have was an ice cream set. With summer just getting started, a toy ice cream set seemed like the perfect addition to the Summer Birthday Bash. I found just what I was looking for at Learning Resources. For our review, we received the Pretend & Play Ice Cream Shop. The set comes with several scoops of ice cream, cones, whip cream, dishes, spoons, a banana, a scooper, an apron and more. My daughters are ten and 17 months and they both loved this set. Even my eight year old son wanted to play (just don't tell his friends-LOL). The little scooper really picks up the ice cream cream so you can serve it on the dishes and cones. The banana is held together with Velcro you can pretend to slice it. There is even a chocolate syrup bottle that shoots out a stream of brown string that looks just like the real thing without all the mess. My kids played with this set for hours. It was so cute watching Willow pretending to lick her ice cream cone. At only $26.99, this set is the perfect summer toy for preschool kids.
