Summer Birthday Bash! GEOBingo Review & Giveaway

Geography has never been one of my kids favorite subjects.  Trying to go over a map with them is "boring". They don't really care that much about life outside their own back yard. But learning about the country and even the world is important. Its also important to keep their young minds sharp during the long summer months. A great way to do that is with educational games. At GeoToys, I found some wonderful games that will really get kids excited about Geography.


For our review, we received GeoBingo USA. This is a fun twist on an old classic that will help kids learn something as they play. The goal of GeoBingo is to get five states in a row on one of the eight GeoBingo cards. That part of the game is simple enough, but there is an important bonus.  Each of the 50 state cards highlight each state's capitol and geographic location. They also include other fun facts like land area, population, and state nicknames. Kids are learning while they play and they won't even realize it. The game is also available in a world version.

Everyone loves to play bingo and my kids are no different. We played several rounds last night and they loved the game.  Long after it was over, they were still discussing which states were bigger and who had more people. In addition to the GeoBingo, GeoToys offers lots of other exciting games and puzzles that will help keep your kids entertained this summer and which would also make great gifts for all those summer birthdays.
