Summer Birthday Bash! Everyday Uses Rock & Card Set from Educational Insights Review & Giveaway

 I have always been a believer in the power of natural stones. I have a huge collection of rocks and crystals that I treasure for their magical and healing properties. I even use stones as part of my Reiki healing sessions.  That is just part of being a New Age Mama. I am always looking for interesting ways to teach my children more about the power of nature, and thanks to Educational Insights, I found a great way to do it.  Their exciting science kit. Everyday Uses Rock & Card Set teaches kids all about the different stones and the special things they can be used for.

The Rock & Card Set comes with twelve different rocks including Coal, Halite, Sulfar, Talc, Malachite, Marble,dolomite, talc, bauxite and more.  It also includes twelve corresponding double-sided cards featuring a photo of each rock and its everyday uses, as well as some interesting facts for the kids. The rocks come in a lovely box where each stone has its own individual slot to keep them organized. And the cards with the matching pictures make it easy for kids to pick out which rock is which.

My children loved the Everyday Uses Rocks & Stones Set and so did I. Its a wonderful science set that teaches kids about the beauty of nature and the science behind it. Kids will be able to identify different stones not only in the kit, but out in the real world as well. The nice sized stones are great for collectors, and the the educational cards will really make kids feel like they learned something new.
