I think its important to teach my kids about other cultures. Its not only educating but will also help them to grow up to he tolerant and open minded adults.  There is so much beauty in the world and a great way to learn about it is through artwork. I was given a $50 gift code to facilitate my review, and we chose a Cajun Drum. I know it doesn't look fancy. My kids  thought it was either a giant tissue box or a bird house. Its deeper and more resonant than other drums.  Since my family is big on drum circles, we like to have a wide variety of shakers and drums to choose from. Even the baby has a shaker. This drum is made from higuerilla wood and has two cotton and copper strings that regulate the drum's reverberation. It came with information and even a personal note from the artist who made it which makes it even more special.
