The Juppy Review & Giveaway

When my older kids were babies, we had a traditional walker. I remember them trying to get around in them. They bumped into everything and made nicks in the wall. I was always worried that they were going to tip them over. And of course I would look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame after bending over all day to try to help them walk. But now I have the Juppy, and as their slogan proclaims, it really is the first baby walker that really makes sense.  It may not look like much, but its a revolutionary idea that all parents are going to know and love.  Check out this video below to see how it works:















The Juppy is really easy to use. You just slide the baby in and zip up the back. Lay their feet on the floor and hold onto the straps. They will get the idea right away and start trying to walk. You can even lift them up a little and gently swing them. Willow laughed and laughed while she was in hers and we had fun for hours without me breaking my back. Its so simple, even my 10 year old was able to do it (with supervision of course). Even though she just turned six months old, with the Juppy Willow is already getting a head start on walking.

I love nuts. They are the perfect anytime snack. They aren't as fattening as junk food in between meals. They are a healthier alternative to things like potato chips. And my husband tells me there is nothing better than a handful of nuts with a bottle of beer when he gets home from work. Green Virgin Products Review & Giveaway & FREE SAMPLES!

Green Virgin is a company that makes only the best green and natural products. I was so excited to be able to try out several of the things they offer. First, they make a very unique kind of deodorant that is made from 100% mineral salts. My oldest daughter just started to need deodorant this year, which was kind of a surprise to me since she is only ten. But trust me...she needed it. I didn't want to use something with a lot of chemicals since she is so young. The Green Virgin deodorant is perfect for her. It doesn't burn her skin like other brands did, its completely safe, and best of all, with normal use one stick can last up to a  year. But in case you're wondering, it does work wonderfully for grownups too:)

The next thing we tried out were their stainless steel bottles. I wasn't sure that my baby was going to like them because they are kind of oddly shaped. But it turned out they they were much easier for her to grip than other bottles. Because they are made from stainless steel, they will hold up much longer than plastic bottles. They are dishwasher safe and have a life time guarantee. Which is great because when your baby outgrows bottles it can convert to a sippy cup and then just a regular water bottle.  If you use the insulted wrap with them, it will keep things warmer or cooler for even longer. 

Last, but certainly not least, I got to try out the Soap Nuts. I had heard about these before, but even though I love green products, I couldn't imagine that a nut could get my clothes clean. Boy, was I wrong! These things are amazing! Just put four or five of them in a hemp bag, toss them in the wash and you have clean and soft clothes. You won't even need to use fabric softener.  For some tougher stains, like baby food, I found I still needed to use a stain stick. But I have to do this with regular detergent too. You can reuse the nuts several times before all the soap is out of them. One bag will for last for more than 80 loads. And since these are 100% all natural nuts that are grown on trees, of course there is no ill effects for the environment.

The whole family is thrown into the dangerous game of trying to retrieve the technology before it falls in the wrong hands.  The movie is filled with lots of exciting twists and turns as well as a little romance that will keep the whole family on the edge of their seats. And what makes it even more fun for parents are the appearances of  stars like Kellie Martin (from ER and Life Goes On), Patricia Richardson (from Home Improvement) and LeVar Burton (from Star Trek the Next Generation).

So Easy Baby Food Kit Review & Giveaway

I have wanted to try making my own baby food for a long time, but I was always nervous about doing in wrong. I didn't know if I was supposed to add anything or how long I had to puree it. If I did it wrong would my baby have trouble digesting it or even worse choke on it?  But thanks to the So Easy Baby Food Kit from Fresh Baby, I've learned just how easy making your own baby food can be.

I was sent the starter kit which comes with a step by step DVD that walks you through the simple progress. It addition, you receive a cookbook, freezer trays, and nutrition tip guides.  The trays are are perfect for storing your baby food. You can make enough for a full week in just 30 minutes. The steps vary depending on what vegetables you're using, but it never takes long and if you follow their simple steps, it will always come out perfect. I started out with peas and my baby loved it. Its amazing how easy it is, and its so much better to use fresh produce. My neighbor's yard looks like the Botanical Gardens threw up. She grows everything under the sun, so much as she barely even has to mow because there is no open space. She also has BEES in TOWN! So, at any given time I am next to 100,000 bees which she is constantly messing with..oh and by the way, did I mention she was older and does yard work in her bathing suit?

Snuggbugg Review and Giveaway

Willow in six months old today! She is growing up so fast. She is just starting to hold her own bottle, but sometimes its still difficult for her pudgy little hands to get a good grip on the bottle.  Luckily, I came across a unique little product called the SnuggBugg available exclusively online at Snugg Stuff.
