Melitta Ready Set Joe Review & Giveaway

 

Its been over a year since I've had any caffiene. I stopped drinking it when my husband and I decided we were going to try for a baby. And since I'm breast feeding, I still can't have any. But I can't give up my coffee completely, so every morning I have a cup of decaf.  My husband still drinks regular coffee, so each morning I'm making two pots. Most of the time I get up before him, but sometimes we get up at the same time and then I have to wait until he's done with his coffee before I can make mine. Since he has to leave for work, its a sacrifice I had to make. But Melitta has just introduced a new product that solves this dilemma and allows me and my husband to both get a fresh cup of coffee first thing in the morning.

Its so simple I can't believe no one thought of it sooner. Its just a mug and a coffee filter. You put the filter over the mug and pour in hot water. Because does anyone like coffee that's been sitting on the heater for hours?  You can even take it to work so if you're running late you'll still get your coffee. All you would need is a microwave or some other way to heat the water.  The best part of all is that is completely affordable. It costs on $5.99 and comes with the mug! Truly an awesome invention that everyone should have in their household.

We tried out the Vienna Roast and the Hazelnut Creme. Because they were regular and not decaf, my hubby is the one who gets to drink them. But I did steal a sip of each for review purposes. They are both rich and delicious, with no bitter after taste. They taste just like coffee you would except from a coffee house.
