Biokleen Review & Giveaway

There are several things I look for when it comes to cleaning products. The first is that they are as natural as possible. I don't like to use products that have a harsh chemical smell, especially not around my children. Its also important to me that the products I use are cruelty free. And of course, it also has to actually get things clean. The cleaning products at Biokleen fit this bill completely. They come in  light natural scents like lavender and grapefruit. They are not tested on animals and contain no animal ingredients. And they get things really clean. As their slogan states, they are "tough on dirt but gentle on the earth".

The first thing I tried out was the Citrus All Temperature Laundry Liquid.  I loved how well this worked. It left my clothes soft and static free. Its made with grapefuit seed and orange peel which is a very uplighting scent. I really enjoyed snuggling under the sheets after washing them with this detergent.  Plus, its super concentrated. You only need to use one or two teaspoons per load. The smaller bottle creates less waste. And of course the bottle can, and should, be recycled.

I also got to try the Bac-Out Bathroom Cleaner in Lavender-Lime.  Once again this scent combination is a real winner. It leaves the bathroom smelling fresh and elimates the need for any air freshener. It does a great job removing soap scum and even got the mold off the bottom of the shower curtain which is something I always struggle with.  There was only one thing that I found disappointing about this company. That was their packaging. The products came wrapped in plastic bubble wrap which is odd for a green company. I would really like to see them switch to something a little more earth friendly.
